The history of our company goes back to the beginning of the eighties, when Klaus Briegel took over the small wine laboratory in Deidesheim. With her successful graduation from Geisenheim University in 2007, his daughter Caroline also joined the company. In 2012 her husband Martin Briegel-Nagel came after graduating from the Weincampus Neustadt / Wstr. as further powerful support. In 2015 Klaus Briegel handed over the company entirely to his daughter Caroline.
Right from the start, striving for the highest level of quality and the best possible customer satisfaction were our top priority. With its own claim not to offer customers a pure analytical laboratory, but to support them with advice on viticulture and cellar technology, the company grew steadily. In order to be able to dedicate itself to this all-round service of the highest quality, our company “Weinlabor Briegel” was renamed “Briegel Oenologie” in July 2021. At the same time, the company was put on a broader footing with the definition of the new focal points "Central Laboratory Palatinate", "Specialist trade for viticulture & oenology" and "Advice & sensor technology".
